Thordon self-lubricating bearings for Deck Machinery
Thordon bearings are particularly suitable for fitting to deck equipment such as :

ThorPlas-Blue is the “all-purpose” material for the edge, ideal for replacing bronze, easy to machine (no dust) and self-lubricating.
A good example of the use of Thordon materials is the bearings for the masts of fishing vessels, especially seiners. ThorPlas-Blue is used in combination with SXL elastomer for shock absorption.
Another application for fishing is ThorPlas-White, approved for food use, ideal for on-board processing lines.
A special range of complete bearings has been created to enhance this material and make it even more efficient: the PackFlange system, which can be fitted directly onto machine shafts and is available in all bearing forms.
